Associate Therapist

New U Therapy Center is a multidisciplinary clinic located in Torrance specializing in providing high quality mental health services including: psychotherapy, psychological testing, Psychiatry and  counseling.

We are looking for  an Associate Therapist ( AMFTs or MCSWs) to join our team!  We are looking for  passionate, dedicated, and motivated clinicians who wants to work with children, teens, adults, and couples and want to grow within a group practice. We are looking for Clinical Therapists who are eager to learn and grow and want to receive a wide range of clinical experience. What You Will Do:

• Provide high quality, personalized, compassionate and ethical outpatient mental health therapy to clients as scheduled
• Help clients set relevant and concrete goals and work toward meaningful outcomes
• Diligently track clients’ progress and serve as an accountability partner
• Problem-solve with clients, providing ongoing feedback, advice, and encouragement
• Complete clinical documentation in timely manner and maintain records of interactions with clients in keeping with legal standards

·What You Will Need:

• Doctoral or master’s degree in psychology, counseling, or other relevant field
• Prior experience providing Psychotherapy
• Value therapeutic relationships and strive to build strong rapport with each client
• Possess strong communication and organizational skills
• 1000 hours of clinical experience completed post graduation

Rate: Up to $38-$44; increase in semi-annual and annual per evaluation
